Job summary

Hancock Iron Ore is seeking an Operator Mineral Processing to join our team at the Roy Hill Mine on a 14 on/14 off FIFO roster from Perth. You will monitor plant performance, inspect equipment, respond to operational issues, and work with plant controllers and maintenance teams to ensure safe, efficient processing.

Qualifications

Experience in mineral processing or fixed plant operations is highly regarded.
Commitment to safe work and ability to work in a team.
Must hold a WA manual C-class driver’s licence.
HR licence and experience operating skid steers or loaders are desirable.

Responsibilities

Conduct pre-start checks and routine inspections of processing plant equipment.
Monitor and support operation of the processing plant.
Operate bobcats, loaders and other authorised mobile equipment for cleanup and support.
Carry out field checks and support safe start-ups, shutdowns and fault response.
Record equipment status and defects to aid handovers and maintenance planning.
Prepare equipment for maintenance and participate in isolations and handovers.
