Hancock Iron Ore is seeking an Operator Port Production for a 14/14 roster, 14 on 14 off, FIFO from Perth to Port Hedland. You will receive, stockpile, screen and load ore onto ships for export, and perform inspections of conveyors, stockyard, outloading equipment, and related facilities to ensure safe operations.

You will work closely with other port operators and the Perth-based Remote Operations Centre to keep product moving safely and reliably.

Formación

• Current WA ManualDriver's License.
• Holds a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC), or is willing to obtain.
• Experience in similar Port Operations role Ship berthing, ship departures, ship loader, stacker, reclaimer and car dumper operations.

Responsabilidades

• Completing safe and effective inspections of allocated operational areas, including conveyors, chutes, transfer points, stackers, reclaimers, car dumper, screenhouse and wharf areas.
• Monitoring equipment condition and reporting defects, hazards and abnormal conditions in a timely manner.
• Supporting safe and efficient inloading, stockyard and outloading activities.
• Responding to operational alarms, stoppages and production issues as directed.
• Carrying out SAP inspections, raising notifications where required and completing accurate handovers.
• Following all relevant procedures, work instructions, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Actively participating in pre-starts, PSIs, safety interactions and hazard reporting.
• Contributing to continuous improvement opportunities across the Port operation.

About the role:

ThePort & Railteamis currently seekinganOperator Port Productionto jointhemon a14 on, 14 off, days and nights FIFO rosterbased atPort Hedland.Reporting to theSupervisor Port Production, you will help receive, stockpile, screen and load ore on to the ships for export. In this position, you’ll be hands-on across the operation - inspecting conveyors, stockyard, outloading equipment, identifying and responding to faults or changing conditions to ensure that areas are safe and ready for work.

You’ll work closely with other port operators and the Perth-based Remote Operations Centre to keep product moving safely and reliably. It’s a role for someone who enjoys being out in the field, solving practical problems and taking ownership of the details that make each shift run well.

Duties:

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in similar Port Operations role – Ship berthing, ship departures,ship loader, stacker, reclaimer and car dumper operations
• Trade Qualification and machinery licenses desirable
