Job summary

Hancock Iron Ore is seeking Operator Mineral Processing candidates for a 14 on, 14 off FIFO roster from Perth to the Roy Hill Mine. You will inspect processing plant equipment, monitor performance, respond to issues, and collaborate with plant controllers, supervisors and maintenance teams to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

Opportunities exist across wet and dry plant operations, with duties ranging from inspections to equipment operation and handovers.

Qualifications

• Experience in mineral processing or fixed plant operations is valued.
• Experience across day and night shifts is beneficial.
• HR licence and ability to operate skid steers or loaders are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-start checks and routine inspections of processing plant equipment.
• Monitor and support the operation of the processing plant.
• Operate skid steers or loaders for clean-up and operational support.
• Support safe plant start-ups, shutdowns and fault response with plant controllers.
• Record equipment status and communicate defects for handovers and maintenance.
