Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a capable mining plant operator for roles in the Rockhampton region, Queensland. The position involves operating mobile plant in a production environment, adhering to safety procedures, and performing pre-start inspections as part of a team. A strong safety focus and professional work conduct are essential.

Camp accommodation is available and the 7/7 rotating roster includes both day and night shifts, with competitive hourly rates offered by a leading mining contractor.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to apply site safety system requirements.
• Professional and productive work behaviours.
• SSE signed skills list or competency transcript.
• Current Driver Licence.
• Current Standard 11.
• Coal Board Medical, or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
• Ability to work DIDO.

Responsibilities

• Operating mobile plant equipment in a production mining environment.
• Following site safety systems and procedures at all times.
• Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting hazards.
