Job summary

Peabody Energy, Inc. is seeking a Mine Monitoring and Control Superintendent to lead the Mine Management & Control function at Coppabella Mine.

You will drive production reporting, fleet data governance and operational intelligence to support safe, efficient mining operations. Based at Coppabella with FIFO/DIDO options and a 9-day fortnight, the role connects Production, Technical Services and Maintenance to optimise systems and reporting with a strong emphasis on safety and continuous

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in open cut mining operations.
Experience with fleet management, dispatch or mine monitoring systems.
Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Experience in production reporting, analytics and data governance.

Responsibilities

Lead the Mine Management & Control team across dispatch, systems, reporting and analytics.
Govern fleet management and mine monitoring to support safe production.
Deliver daily, weekly, monthly and annual production reporting and dashboards.
Maintain data integrity across equipment, locations, delays and allocations.
Lead production reconciliation and explain variances between plans and outcomes.
Drive technology and analytics initiatives to improve safety and productivity.
Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, OT and vendors to optimise systems.
Ensure governance and controls meet statutory and site requirements.
