NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd in North Queensland is seeking an experienced Mine Geologist to join our underground mining team on a permanent basis. Graduate Geologists will also be considered, with daily responsibilities supporting face extraction and ore control.

You will validate production and geological data, map geology and geotechnical parameters, and collaborate with engineers to optimise mine plans for ore recovery while adhering to safety standards.

Formación

• Minimum a tertiary qualification in Geology or Geosciences.
• Competency with at least one mine planning software package, preferably Vulcan.
• Understanding of mining techniques and methodologies to aid in the best extraction of minimally diluted ore.
• Experience in mine geology and grade control practices.
• Understanding of Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations.

NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd is an Australian gold explorer, developer, and producer, operating Pajingo Gold Mine, a long-established underground gold mining operation located approximately 50 km south of Charters Towers in North Queensland. Situated in the heart of North Queensland, the mine benefits from its proximity to Charters Towers, a vibrant regional centre offering excellent amenities, while also being within easy reach of Townsville and the world-renowned natural beauty of the Great Barrier Reef.

We're looking for an experienced Mine Geologist to join our underground mining team on a permanent basis. Graduate Geologists will also be considered.

This role is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and managing the daily mine geological activities under the direction of the Senior Geotechnical & Projects Engineer.
