NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Mine Geologist to join our underground mining team at Pajingo, a long-established operation located about 50 km south of Charters Towers, North Queensland. The role covers daily geological activities under the guidance of the Senior Geotechnical & Projects Engineer and graduate geologists will be considered.

NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd is an Australian gold explorer, developer, and producer, operating Pajingo Gold Mine, a long-established underground gold mining operation located approximately 50 km south of Charters Towers in North Queensland. We're looking for an experienced Mine Geologist to join our underground mining team on a permanent basis. Graduate Geologists will also be considered.

This role is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and managing the daily mine geological activities under the direction of the Senior Geotechnical & Projects Engineer.

What we are looking for

• Minimum a Tertiary qualification in Geology or Geosciences
• Competency with at least one mine planning software package, preferably Vulcan
• Understanding of mining techniques and methodologies, to aid in the best extraction of minimally diluted ore
• Experience in mine geology and grade control practices
• Understanding of relevant sections of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations
