Job summary

Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) Ltd is seeking to lead and coordinate the Medical, Emergency Services and Security functions at Agnew Gold Mine on a permanent FIFO roster from Perth (8 days on, 6 days off).

Reporting to the OHST manager, you will strengthen emergency preparedness, security practices and site response capability, develop the Emergency Response Team, coordinate exercises and ensure regulatory compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Must hold mining emergency response and security certifications.
• Experience leading Emergency Services and Security teams in underground mining.
• Strong incident management and regulatory compliance capabilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Emergency Response Team to ensure high standards of emergency services and security practices onsite.
• Plan and coordinate emergency exercises and mock emergencies per regulatory and site requirements.
• Maintain emergency response, security and compliance systems, procedures and documentation.
• Manage security policies, site access procedures and investigations with external agencies.
• Represent Agnew and Gold Fields at mine rescue and regulatory forums.
• Oversee training, equipment, vehicles and maintenance for the department.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
• Model core values and support team members' wellbeing.
