Job summary

Action Drill & Blast is seeking a Drill Fitter for a full-time 7/7 DIDO position at the South Walker Creek project in the Bowen Basin, QLD. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will service REICHDrill rigs, manage workloads, and support trainee fitters while adhering to safety standards.

Essential skills include hands-on diagnostics, autonomous work capability, and a high level of physical fitness. Desirable is prior drill or mining experience with heavy machinery maintenance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with drill servicing and maintenance.
• HR driving licence is advantageous.
• Strong diagnostic skills and field service fault finding.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled drill servicing across REICHDrill rigs.
• Prioritising workloads or unscheduled repairs when required.
• Supervising and/or coaching the activities of Trainee Fitters.
• Maintaining and servicing light vehicles, support trucks and trailers.
• Fulfilling all safety requirements and maintenance reporting needs.
