Job summary

RECRUIT AUSTRALIA is seeking experienced individuals for MIG welding or press brake operation in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The roles demand flexibility to move around the workshop and multi-skilling within a team-driven environment.

Ideal candidates will have MIG or press brake experience, be able to read drawings, and demonstrate strong communication and attention to detail. Long-term, permanent opportunities with a stable Australian employer are offered.

Qualifications

• MIG welding or Pulse welding experience is required or advantageous.
• Be able to read and follow engineering drawings.
• Background in sheet metal fabrication is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• High attention to detail and multi-skilled teamwork in a workshop.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate high-quality components using MIG welding and pulse welding techniques.
• Operate press brake and other fabrication machines in a production environment.
• Move around sections to support demand and work as a team.
