Recruit Inc in Melbourne's eastern suburbs is seeking experienced production welders or press brake operators, or fabricators, to join its sheet metal team. Starting immediately, the roles involve MIG welding and press brake work in a busy workshop.

The company is well established and offers long-term permanent work with a collaborative team environment. Applicants should be flexible to move around the section and able to read drawings.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience or equivalent in a sheet metal shop.
• Experience with pulse welding and press brake operation is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tight tolerance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and good verbal/written communication.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate high-quality components using MIG and pulse welding techniques.
• Operate press brake and other fabrication machinery in a production environment.
• Work as part of a flexible, multi-skilled workshop team to meet demand.

As part of their ongoing expansion, we are seeking multiple experienced production welders or Press brake operators or anyone from a fabrication background to join their production team.

These new positions will involve various tasks. It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the section to keep up with demand. Everyone within the workshop works as a team and most people are multi-skilled.

As a Team player In the production team, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality components using MIG, and Pulse welding techniques, operating press brake and various other fabrication machines in a production manufacturing environment.
