Job summary

Northside Christian College in Everton Park, Brisbane, is seeking a Curriculum Leader for Middle School Science to drive innovative, engaging curriculum and support high-quality teaching. You will mentor teachers, lead assessment practices and contribute to a Christ-centred learning community that values excellence and service.

You will work closely with the Head of Teaching & Learning to shape curriculum across year levels, collaborate across teams, and ensure alignment with College policies

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading Science curriculum across Middle/Senior School levels.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum design, assessment and student learning requirements.
• Experience mentoring colleagues and coordinating professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum development and innovation for Science across Middle School.
• Mentor teachers, provide feedback and coordinate professional learning.
• Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to diverse learning needs.
• Align subject priorities with College vision and educational philosophy.
• Foster partnerships with students, parents and external bodies to support wellbeing.
• Oversee resources, budgets and compliance with College policies.
