Job summary

Studio Tate in Melbourne seeks a Mid-Senior Technical Designer to join our interior architecture practice. The role focuses on documentation and project delivery across multi-residential, workplace and hospitality sectors.

You will translate design intent into coordinated, buildable outcomes, lead detailed documentation, and support coordination with consultants, contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and accuracy on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Approximately 6+ years of industry experience within interior architecture or interior design practice.
• Demonstrated experience delivering highly resolved interior projects through documentation and construction.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, detailing, materials and finishes.
• Experience producing comprehensive and coordinated documentation packages.
• Confidence coordinating with consultants, contractors and suppliers.

The Role - Mid-Senior Technical Designer

We are seeking an experienced Mid-Senior Technical Designer to join the Studio Tate team, with a specialist focus on documentation and project delivery.

This is a full-time position requiring approximately 6+ years of industry experience, with demonstrated experience delivering projects within an interior architecture or interior design practice. Working closely with our project teams and technical leadership, you will play an integral role in translating design intent into highly resolved, coordinated and buildable outcomes across our multi-residential, workplace and hospitality projects. The role is suited to a technically accomplished designer who combines strong documentation and detailing skills with an understanding of design intent, materiality and the level of refinement required to deliver exceptional interior environments.
