CKA Studio, based in Thornbury, Melbourne VIC, is seeking an interior designer to join our small, design‑driven studio. You’ll work directly with the Director of Interiors, taking ownership of interior packages from concept through documentation and delivery.

This hands‑on role emphasizes mentorship, real contribution, and collaboration across disciplines on residential, commercial, and mixed‑use projects, with consistent hours in our Thornbury studio.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years' experience in an interior design studio.
• Proficient in Revit (essential).
• Sound eye for materiality, detail, and spatial resolution.
• Clear, confident communicator across written and verbal work.
• Working knowledge of the Australian supplier and finishes market.
• Based in Melbourne with full working rights.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts and see them through to detailed documentation.
• Produce Revit documentation to studio standard.
• Contribute to material, finish, and FF&E selections.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and suppliers through project delivery.

The Role

You’ll work directly with the Director of Interiors and alongside our wider studio team on interior packages from concept through documentation.
