Job summary

Viewix, a Sydney-based creative video production company, is seeking a Video Editor with 1–2 years behind them to join in a casual capacity with potential to grow. You'll handle social edits, branded content and narrative pieces for recognizable clients, owning edits end to end.

You'll work in a small team, deliver fast, clean cuts in Premiere Pro, handle graphics, sound and color, take briefs, respond to feedback, and contribute to the creative direction of projects from concept to delivery.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years editing experience in a production company, agency or in-house team.
• Fast and clean editing in Premiere Pro; comfortable with After Effects (Resolve a bonus).
• A reel showing range and finish, not just one good spot.
• Ability to manage workload and hit deadlines without chasing.
• Receptive to feedback and able to push back when appropriate.
• Clear communication and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Cut short-form and long-form content in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Build punchy social edits with pacing, structure and hooks.
• Take briefs and deliver an approach, not just a first draft.
• Handle graphics, sound and colour to a clean finish.
• Feed into shoots to ensure smooth post-production.

Viewix is a creative video production company based in Sydney. We produce bold, polished content for premium brands, and we're looking for an editor with a year or two behind them who's ready for more.

This role is for someone who's already worked inside a production company or agency. You've cut to real briefs, hit real deadlines, and survived a few rounds of client feedback. You don't need someone standing over your shoulder explaining timelines, exports or file management.

You get social video. You know what holds attention in the first two seconds and what gets scrolled past. You've made work that performed, and you can tell us why it did.

About the Role

We're a small team, so you'll own your edits end to end rather than being handed one small piece of someone else's project.
