Job summary

Set Up My Offshore is seeking a remote Accounts Payable & Receivable and Reconciliations specialist to manage supplier invoices, payments, payroll, month-end reporting and Australian compliance. You will collaborate with a remote team and work with Australian BAS, GST and PAYGW requirements.

The role requires experience in Xero, Xero Tax, Excel, and strong communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred, with attention to detail and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Previous accounting and/or bookkeeping experience, preferably with Australian taxation entities.
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting and taxation concepts and terminology.
• Experience with Australian BAS, GST and PAYGW requirements, or the ability to learn these.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.

Requirements

• Previous accounting and/or bookkeeping experience, preferably with Australian taxation entities.
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting and taxation concepts and terminology
• Experience with Xero and Xero Tax
• Experience with Australian BAS, GST and PAYGW requirements, or the ability to learn these.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Offi ce, particularly Excel
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro is desirable.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related field is preferred.
• Previous audit experience is desirable.
