Job summary

DXC Technology in Sydney is seeking a Microsoft Security Engineer to join our team and strengthen our Microsoft security environment. You will manage, configure, and optimise Microsoft security solutions while contributing to design and implementation across day-to-day security operations.

The role focuses on hands-on troubleshooting, incident response, and collaboration with architects and technical teams to drive secure cloud platforms for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Conditional Access.
• Knowledge of Identity Governance and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Experience with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender.
• Understanding of Azure Security and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM).
• Experience with vulnerability management and remediation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

We're looking for a Microsoft Security Engineer who brings curiosity, initiative, and a genuine passion for security. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll have the autonomy to troubleshoot, optimise, and strengthen our Microsoft security environment while continuing to develop your skills.

As our Microsoft Security Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting and enhancing our Microsoft security environment. You'll work across day‑to‑day security operations while contributing to the design and implementation of security solutions alongside senior architects.
