The role involves handling incoming samples, data entry into the LIMS, maintaining supplies, and ensuring the laboratory meets health and safety standards.

The successful candidate will have an A level in science, an interest in microbiological analysis, and a willingness to work as part of a compliant NHS laboratory team.

Qualifications

• Educated to A level in a science subject.
• Experience with basic microbiology techniques is advantageous.
• Ability to enter data accurately into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

Responsabilités

• Enter sample details into the laboratory information management system.
• Manage laboratory supplies and stock levels.
• Perform instrument checks and microbiological analyses as required.
• Maintain clean and safe laboratory conditions and proper waste disposal.
• Record calibration checks and ensure traceability for audits.
