ETS Infrastructure Management – North Lakes QLD is seeking a reliable Water Meter Reader for casual, outdoors work. You will drive to route starts and walk to meters, logging readings on a handheld device across the Unitywater area.

This role suits active individuals seeking flexible hours, including students. You will receive full training, a company uniform, a km allowance, a stable on/off roster, and access to career progression, EAP, and health cover discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Physically fit and able to walk 10-15 km daily in all weather conditions.
• Strong focus on safety, reliability and meeting deadlines.
• Comfortable entering properties (including those with animals safely).
• High attention to detail with excellent customer service skills.
• Willing to complete police check, medical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Available to work regularly and can commit to hours in advance.
• Previous meter reading experience would be considered highly desirable.

ETS Infrastructure Management – North Lakes QLD

“Join our team as a Water Meter Reader! Perfect for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working independently and outdoors.”

About the role:

The Meter Reader position involves driving to the start of an allocated route/s and then moving on foot from location to location reading and logging data from water meters into a hand-held device for commercial and domestic properties throughout the Unitywater contractarea. We are offering casual positions that would suit university students, personal trainers, parents or other candidates looking for flexibility (but can still commit to regular hours in advance).

Candidates would ideally reside within the North Lakes Region and should be comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather conditions and terrain, walking up to 10km per day

This is a very physically demanding position where we work towards tight deadlines to deliver a high level of service standards.

• Paid motor vehicle allowance 98c per km for all km’s driven between routes.
• 11 week on 2 week off cycle roster (Monday to Friday)
