Job summary

Service Stream is seeking a Meter Reader in Victoria to service communities including Yarrawonga, Cobram, Tocumwal, Corowa and Rutherglen. No experience is required; full training, uniform and PPE are provided.

You will walk your allocated routes reading meters and supporting customers in an outdoor setting. This role offers flexible Mon-Fri scheduling with 20-25 hours per week, travel up to 45 minutes each way, and the chance to join a large, long-standing organisation that values safety and

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Current valid drivers license.
• Reliable motor vehicle and mobile phone.
• Ready to learn and able to work on your own.
• Able to undertake plenty of walking, bending and squatting.
• Able to work in most weather conditions.
• Able to work Mon-Fri, 20-25 hours per week.
• Flexible and comfortable with daily travel of up to, or more than 45 minutes each way.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good attention to detail is required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately read allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
• Uphold the Service Stream safety standards and publicly represent Service Stream and our clients in a professional manner.
• Understand and ensure targets are met.
• Ability to work independently but also work with other members of the team.
• Regularly communicate with office support team.
• Upload/download route information to/from hand-held device.
