Job summary

Service Stream is seeking casual Meter Readers to join our Shepparton region team. You will drive to routes and autonomously walk from property to property to read and record utility usage on an electronic handheld device.

The role offers outdoor work, an active lifestyle and on-the-job training. Prior meter reading experience is not required; you must have an Australian Licence, reliable vehicle and a mobile phone, with 30–38 hours per week, Mon-Fri.

• No experience required for the role.
• Must hold a valid Australian Driver's License.
• Reliable motor vehicle and a mobile phone are required.
• Available to work Mon-Fri, 30–38 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily routes for meter reading.
• Read allocated meters accurately and record data on handheld device.
• Ensure efficiency targets are met and communicate with office support.
• Represent Service Stream professionally to residents and businesses.

We are currently seeking Casual Meter Readers based in Shepparton and the surrounds, to join our team - Keep fit and get paid. As a Meter Reader, you will be responsible to drive to an allocated route and autonomously walk from property to property, reading and recording utility consumption numbers in an electronic hand-held device. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and organise your work day and routes - Amenities etc.
• Accurately read allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient and safe manner
• Understand and ensure efficiency targets are met
• Publicly represent Service Stream and our clients in a professional manner
• Regularly communicate with office support team
• Upload/download route information to/from hand-held computer
• Report to office as required

Is This You?
