Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator, Boilermaker, or Welder in Australia’s Tailem Bend region. The role blends workshop fabrication with hands-on installation across varied projects, with sponsorship available for qualified overseas tradespeople.

Candidates should hold a recognised trade qualification in metal fabrication, boilermaking or welding and have proven fabrication and welding experience.

Qualifications

• Recognised trade qualification in Metal Fabrication, Boilermaking or Welding.
• Experience in fabrication and welding environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and materials.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and welding custom components for a range of projects.
• Interpreting technical drawings, plans and fabrication specifications.
• Working with steel, aluminium and stainless-steel materials.
• Using fabrication tools, machinery and workshop equipment safely.
• Completing welding tasks with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Assisting with site installations and project completion activities.
• Applying practical knowledge to identify solutions during fabrication and installation.
• Working alongside experienced tradespeople and project teams.
• Communicating effectively with team members and clients when required.
• Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and workmanship.
• Supporting projects from initial fabrication through to final installation.
