JS Balustrading PTY LTD in Kirrawee, NSW, is seeking a skilled Fabricator for a full-time role focused on the fabrication and manufacture of metalwork products. You will perform precision welding, cutting and assembly to meet client specifications and project requirements.

You will read technical drawings, operate MIG/TIG/stick welding equipment, measure and cut metal, assemble components and conduct quality inspections while maintaining a safe, organized workshop and supporting team objectives.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG and stick welding techniques.
• Experience with metal cutting and shaping tools.
• Strong safety awareness in a fabrication workshop.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine fabrication requirements
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, including MIG, TIG and stick welding machines, to join metal components with precision and quality
• Measure, mark and cut metal materials using various tools and equipment such as angle grinders, plasma cutters and shears
• Assemble metal components and sub-assemblies according to specifications and quality standards
• Perform quality inspections on fabricated products to ensure they meet design specifications and safety requirements
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
• Maintain and service fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Document work completed and maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent on projects
