Job summary

Executive Risk Solutions (ERS) is seeking a qualified emergency response professional for a FIFO role in the Pilbara region. You’ll cover emergency preparedness, incident response, medical care and emergency management on site, collaborating with the ERS team and client leadership.

The ideal candidate has mining emergency experience, relevant certificates, a current HR licence and the fitness to meet on-site demands. FIFO roster options apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency response within mining or related field.
• FIFO experience highly desirable.
• Knowledge of emergency response protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cover a range of responsibilities from emergency preparedness to incident response and medical care on site.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate safety and response actions.
• Operate within the site’s safety framework and regulatory requirements.

You’ll play a vital role on our client's site, covering a range of responsibilities from emergency preparedness to incident response, medical care, and emergency management.

About You

• Experience and qualifications in emergency response within mining, or a background in emergency management, fire services, defence, or a similar field
• FIFO experience highly desirable
• Strong working knowledge of emergency response protocols and procedures
• Medical capability in emergency response (desirable)
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Physically fit and prepared for the operational demands of the role

Qualifications

• RII30719 – Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue, OR PUA30622 – Certificate III in Public Safety
• HLT41120 – Certificate IV in Health Care (or higher) – MESO specific
• HLTPAT005 – Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing
• Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver's Licence, to operate site fire appliances
• HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid (current within 3 years)
• HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (current within 12 months)
• National Police Clearance
• Australian Working Rights
• Dependent onsite or projects we may require additional licenses or qualifications
