The Role:

Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, the Merchandise Assistant will support the Category Team in the growth and profitability of a specific category, whilst having a strong focus on marketing activities, administrative processes, and data analytics.

Duties include:
  • Support all members of the category team
  • Assist with loading of images and catalogue layouts
  • General marketing support
  • Administer processes relating to the category
  • Manage product data related activities including vendor cost changes, clearance excess reporting, product data and pricing maintenance
  • Assist with retail and trade promotional builds and ensure deadlines are met
  • Assist with event and promotional planning
  • Database management
  • Compile weekly reporting
About You:
  • Previous marketing administration experience
  • Familiar with marketing principles or exposure to retail/trade marketing
  • High level excel skills
  • Retail experience desirable
  • Strong organisational skills and able to juggle a number of constantly changing priorities
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to work effectively without close supervision, with a flexible approach
  • Studies in marketing/merchandise an advantage
