Job summary

Bapcor is seeking a Merchandise Analyst to join our Retail Merchandise team in Mount Waverley. The role focuses on sales reporting, inventory analysis and supplier performance to drive commercial decisions.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years in analytics or finance roles, with strong Excel skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience in an analytical, finance, accounting, reporting or business-related role.
• Experience turning data into insights with a focus on accuracy and impact.
• Proficiency with large datasets and Excel for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Producing daily, weekly and monthly sales and trade reporting.
• Analysing sales, inventory and supplier performance data.
• Investigating overdue stock orders and delivery issues.
• Monitoring supplier and distribution centre performance.
• Preparing reports and insights to support commercial decisions.
• Identifying trends, opportunities and process improvements.
• Working closely with Merchandise, Supply Chain and Store Operations teams.
• Supporting promotional analysis and planning activities.
