Job summary

UGL Pty Limited, part of the ACS Group, is seeking an experienced MEP Services Manager to lead delivery on a major data centre project in Melbourne. You will oversee planning, coordination and execution of building services from early works through testing and handover.

You will coordinate design, procurement, construction and commissioning, manage stakeholders, and promote safety, quality and timely delivery on a complex, high‑pressure program.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading MEP delivery on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning readiness and handover processes.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate across disciplines.
• Solid commercial awareness and quality documentation practices.
• Relevant electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end MEP services delivery and act as the project-wide technical lead across design coordination, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
• Manage stakeholders including clients, consultants, subcontractors, commissioning teams and vendors to meet program, quality, safety and commercial targets.
• Coordinate interfaces across CSA, fit-out, ICT/ELV, fire systems, BMS and critical infrastructure to reduce rework and improve commissioning readiness.
• Drive completion and handover with ITPs, test packs, asset data, O&M manuals, training, defects and seasonal commissioning planning.
• Collaborate with the project team on risk, sequencing and constructability, ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure all works are planned and executed safely.
