HealthStaff Recruitment is seeking Registered Nurses with mental health qualifications and/or experience to join Adult Inpatient Acute and Adult Inpatient Recovery teams across Tasmania. Overseas candidates meeting AHPRA requirements are encouraged to apply.

The role offers diverse opportunities in a multidisciplinary setting, across inpatient, hospital in the home, community, forensic, and correctional health services, contributing to statewide mental health programs.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Driver’s Licence (where applicable for community-based services).
• Desirable: specialist mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in acute adult mental health and related services across inpatient and community settings.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams delivering state-wide mental health services.
• Support consumer care in line with legal requirements and professional competency standards.
