Job summary

Grand Pacific Health in Caringbah is seeking a Health Promotion Project Officer for a full-time, fixed-term role through 30 June 2027 to lead mental health promotion, wellbeing and social connection initiatives in the Sutherland Shire.

You will plan, deliver and evaluate programs, engage diverse communities including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and LGBTQIA+ groups, and strengthen partnerships with local stakeholders while providing training and support.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with diverse groups and public-speaking experience.
• Strong understanding of health promotion and public health concepts.
• Commitment to inclusive practices for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, multicultural and LGBTQIA+ communities.

Responsibilities

• Improve access to care for priority populations.
• Support early help seeking.
• Build community understanding of mental health and wellbeing through delivering mental health skills training.
• Design health promotion initiatives with community groups.
• Manage and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders.
