Job summary

SA Health in Bedford Park is seeking Mental Health Nurses for the Margaret Tobin Centre. Roles include working in a brand-new PICU and delivering high-quality, patient-centred care on 12-hour shifts. Multiple full-time ongoing vacancies exist at RN/M1 and RN/M2C levels.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, with opportunities for training, supervision, and mentorship of junior staff, while contributing to outstanding consumer outcomes and flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in mental health nursing is advantageous.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

• Deliver patient-centred nursing care across acute mental health settings.

About you:

• You’re a confident communicator with strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution and negotiation skills, able to build trust with consumers, families and colleagues alike.
• You bring demonstrated expertise in mental health nursing practice, delivering care that aligns with best-practice standards and truly puts consumers first.
• You’re committed to ongoing learning and professional growth, either enrolled in an approved mental health course or holding a recognised qualification in mental health practice.
• You hold a Bachelor or Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent qualification) and are ready to apply your skills in a rewarding, fast-paced environment.
• You have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and a strong commitment to safe, high-quality care.

This position is multi-classed as either RN/M1, RN/M2C and classification will be determined by qualifications and/or experience.
