PSYCHOLOGISTS - CORRECTIONS

About the Role:

We are seeking qualified Psychologists for multiple locum opportunities with Queensland Corrective Services. These roles offer an attractive hourly rate and benefits such as travel and accommodation assistance. We are looking for individuals interested in an exciting new work opportunity.

Role and Company Benefits

• Generous hourly rate of $100 p/h + super
• Short-term contracts lasting 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension
• Full-time roles available, working 5 days a week; part-time considered
• Primarily responsible for risk assessments and intake assessments of inmates
• Opportunities for professional development
• Contribute to meaningful rehabilitation work that enhances community safety
• Gain on-the-job experience while providing quality clinical services to a diverse caseload

Selection Criteria:

• Fully qualified General or Clinical Psychologists registered with AHPRA (provisionally registered psychologists are not eligible)
• Experience in psychological assessments and interventions for adults with various mental health conditions
• Knowledge of risk assessment tools and rehabilitation strategies
• Ability to pass a Criminal History Check
