Metro Trains Melbourne is seeking a Data Analyst for the Analytics Team within the Performance, Planning and Reporting division to partner with stakeholders and transform data into actionable insights. The role focuses on data analysis, forecasting and modeling to understand future network changes and their impact on performance, safety and passengers.

You will develop forecasting models, create dashboards and visualisations, and ensure data from multiple sources is accurate and well documented

Qualifications

• Teritary qualification in Business, Science, Analytics or Engineering.
• Experience with SQL, R or Python and knowledge of Snowflake or RStudio.
• Experience with PowerBI and data visualisations.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and insights.
• Ability to translate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
