Beca is seeking a Payroll Specialist based in Melbourne to support our Australian business as part of a global Finance Operations team, delivering end-to-end payroll services with accuracy and timeliness.

You will handle payroll processing, reporting, reconciliations, superannuation, compliance, and year-end activities, collaborating with Finance and People & Culture, while driving payroll improvements and ensuring employees are paid correctly on time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering end-to-end Australian payroll within a medium to large organisation.
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation, compliance obligations and payroll best practices.
• Ability to manage complex payroll scenarios (parental leave, terminations, salary packaging, leave calculations, superannuation).
• Proactive with payroll legislation, awards, payroll tax and regulatory changes, sharing insights with others.

• Deliver accurate and timely end-to-end payroll services for our Australian workforce.
• Handle payroll processing, reporting and reconciliations, plus superannuation administration and compliance activities.
• Respond to payroll enquiries with professionalism, accuracy and care.
• Contribute to year-end processing and reporting requirements; support payroll improvement initiatives.
