Avant Law in Canberra is seeking a Paralegal on a part-time permanent basis (0.6 FTE) to join our specialist medico-legal team. You will work alongside solicitors and gain exposure to a diverse range of medical indemnity matters.

Formación

• Experience in a paralegal or administrative role within a legal environment.
• Proven ability to draft and format legal documents.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Provide paralegal and administrative support to solicitors.
• Prepare and format legal documentation including briefs and correspondence.
• Assist with court and tribunal filings and liaise with witnesses and staff.
• Maintain accurate legal files and manage invoices for services.
• Coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements.
• Support the Perth legal team as needed.
