Avant Law is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Brisbane team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will support leading medico-legal solicitors, manage legal documents, and help ensure deadlines are met in a collaborative environment.

You bring organized, proactive legal support experience with strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a busy practice.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a paralegal or legal administrative role.
• Experience preparing legal documentation and maintaining legal files.
• Experience preparing briefs and chronologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Accurate and efficient typing skills, including digital dictation.
• Strong organisational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Draft, prepare and format legal documents, briefs, correspondence, summaries and chronologies.
• Maintain legal files, coordinate court filings and liaise with courts, tribunals, witnesses and experts.

• Assist with member advice lines, meeting coordination, invoicing and general practice administration
