Job summary

STAT Recruitment is seeking a Senior Resident Medical Officer for a Rehabilitation term at a Bathurst hospital in NSW. The position covers day shifts with weekend allocation as part of the term, and supervision by a 24/7 Consultant. Travel and accommodation are provided on placement.

Based in Bathurst on the Macquarie River, the role involves ward rounds, clinical reviews and discharge planning for inpatient rehab care. Terms run 16 November 2026 to 1 February 2027.

Job description

On the banks of the Macquarie River in the Central Tablelands of NSW, the vibrant regional centre of Bathurst is rich with history and gold rush heritage. With Mount Panorama-Whaluu rising in the distance, its also the home of Australian motor racing and a hotspot for motorsport enthusiasts.

This hospital consists of an emergency department and inpatient beds, as well as community health services. Also located on site is Daffodil Cottage, which provides cancer care services.

1x SRMO Reg required for whole Term 5 ( Rehab )
16 November 2026 – 1 February 2027
Day shift 0800 – 1630
2 Weekend shifts will be allocated for the Term
$1100 daily
Duties: Ward rounds, clinical reviews, discharge planning.
24/7 Consultant available
