Job summary

STAT Recruitment is seeking a Gen Med Registrar for a fixed-term placement in Bathurst, NSW. The role covers hospital general medicine with ward rounds, MET calls, clinical reviews and discharge planning. The position starts 2 November 2026 and runs through 1 February 2027, Monday to Friday, with shift 0800–1630.

Travel and accommodation are provided, with 24/7 consultant support on site. Applicants should be prepared for potential weekend shifts with notice, and will join a team serving the

Job description

On the banks of the Macquarie River in the Central Tablelands of NSW, the vibrant regional centre of Bathurst is rich with history and gold rush heritage. With Mount Panorama-Whaluu rising in the distance, its also the home of Australian motor racing and a hotspot for motorsport enthusiasts.

This hospital consists of an emergency department and inpatient beds, as well as community health services. Also located on site is Daffodil Cottage, which provides cancer care services.

• Gen Med Registrar required for whole Term
• $1400 daily
• 2 November 2026 to 1 February 2027
• Monday to Friday
• Shift: 0800-1630
• Weekends shifts might be required with enough notice.
