Job summary

seek.com.au is recruiting a Pharmacist for a permanent full-time role in a non-retail, predominantly clinical pharmacy environment.

You will dispense medicinal cannabis prescriptions, provide patient counselling, ensure SAS-B and prescriber framework compliance, and collaborate with doctors, clinics and pharmacy teams on Monday–Friday shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy qualification.
• Unrestricted AHPRA General Registration as a Pharmacist.
• Experience in a busy, dynamic, fast-paced or high-volume dispensing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe dispensing practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Interest in medicinal cannabis and emerging pharmacy practice areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care both in person and over the phone.
• Accurately and efficiently dispense and verify medicinal cannabis prescriptions.
• Provide appropriate medication counselling and patient education.
• Ensure SAS-B and Authorised Prescriber frameworks compliance and state requirements.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, clinics and pharmacy teams.
• Support clinical screening and prescription-related enquiries.
• Liaise with Medical Science Liaisons and industry representatives.
• Prepare patient orders for collection and delivery with accuracy.
• Assist with stock management and Schedule 8 handling.
• Maintain accurate records and dispensing documentation.
