Western District Health Service is seeking a Medical Workforce Officer – Recruitment & Contracts to join the Medical Workforce Team on a fixed-term 10-month contract in Hamilton, Victoria.

The role oversees recruitment, onboarding, contracts, and compliance for medical professionals, coordinating visa processes and credentialing while supporting workforce planning and stakeholder engagement.

Formación

• Qualifications in Business Management, Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline.
• Experience in recruitment, workforce administration, contract management or a similar role.
• Experience managing recruitment processes and employment contracts.
• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Discretion with confidential information.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee recruitment and employment contract processes for medical professionals, ensuring a smooth, professional and compliant candidate experience.
• Manage employment contracts, compliance requirements and employee records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legislative and organisational requirements.
• Coordinate visa processes, workforce compliance and credentialing activities for medical professionals across WDHS.
• Collaborate with People & Capability, medical staff, health services, training organisations and partner agencies to support workforce planning and recruitment outcomes.
• Act as the first point of contact for recruitment, contract and compliance enquiries from medical workforce employees and stakeholders.
• Contribute to workforce improvement initiatives, process reviews and service enhancements that strengthen recruitment, onboarding and workforce management practices.
