Job summary

SA Health is seeking a Medical Scientist to perform a range of standard professional tasks with a high level of competence, drawing on specialised understanding to support accurate testing, analysis and reporting.

You will deliver high-quality diagnostic services through advanced scientific knowledge, support quality management processes, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement within the laboratory.

Qualifications

• You must meet NPAAC requirements for a medical scientist with an approved AQF7 degree and pathology relevance >70%.
• You should be capable of working with limited supervision and maintaining accuracy under pressure.
• You must be able to deliver high-quality diagnostic services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic services using advanced scientific knowledge.
• Provide professional services to a diverse client base, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Support quality management processes, including validation of Quality Control activities under supervision.
