The Role & Responsibilities

As a Medical Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, building relationships, and promoting innovative products to medical professionals. Your primary objective will be to achieve and exceed sales targets by delivering value-driven solutions that support patient outcomes and align with our company's mission.

  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with medical professionals in your assigned territory.
  • Present and detail ophthalmic products effectively to healthcare professionals, demonstrating in-depth product knowledge and clinical benefits.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve territory sales objectives.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market presence.
  • Provide educational support and training to healthcare providers, ensuring optimal product understanding and utilization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and clinical advancements within the ophthalmology field.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and medical affairs, to align strategies and share market insights.
  • Maintain compliance with Medicines Australia guidelines and internal company policies.
  • Accurately document and report sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback.

Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 years' experience as a sales representative.
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical sales or related medical fields highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Full Australian working rights and reliable vehicle with 5 star ANCAP safety rating
