Medrecruit is seeking a Medical Registrar (Basic Physician Trainee) to join a major Top End hospital network in Darwin and Palmerston. Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care across tertiary and regional services while progressing through Basic Physician Training.

Open to international candidates, the role requires eligibility for Medical Board of Australia registration, with Medical Registrar experience or PGY3+ level.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage medical patients.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate investigations.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and discharge summaries.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in outreach, teaching and clinical meetings.
• Supervise junior medical staff.
• Support research, audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Eligible for Medical Board of Australia registration.
• Medical Registrar experience or PGY3+ level.
