Ng Family Medical Practice is hiring a Casual/Temporary Medical Receptionist role in South Perth, WA.

Job summary:

Job Description:

Ng Family Medical Practice is a long established GP practice in Como/South Perth. We are looking for a casual receptionist to join our small, but happy team. Must be available to work three to four morning/afternoon shifts per week (4-5 hours/shift), with occasional Saturday morning shifts and extra shifts for holiday cover when required.

Experience preferred, but training provided.

The role includes:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Front reception desk duties
  • Welcome patients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Receive incoming phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Retrieve and file hardcopy patient records
  • Process and record payments (HICAPS/EFTPOS/Medicare)
  • Medicare/HPOS data entry and liaison
  • Use Microsoft Word for basic word processing/correspondence
