Job summary

MedRecruit Limited seeks a locum doctor to cover a seven-day period in a rural Australian public hospital. The role involves ED, inpatient care, and discharge summaries, with on-site duties from 1730 to 2300 hours and handover sessions at 1730–1800 and 0730–0800 in the Emergency Department.

Must hold current AHPRA registration. The hospital offers a modern facility with comprehensive services and a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care to patients in ED, inpatient wards, and during discharge summaries.
• Participate in teaching and research activities as part of the hospital team.

Locum cover is required from 8 - 14 February 2027.

Position Details:

• Shift times: Face-to-face clinical handover with day doctor at 1730 – 1800 and 0730 – 0800 in the Emergency Department.
• Required to be onsite from 1730 - 2300.
• ED/IPU Nights.
• Covering: ED, Inpatients, and Discharge summaries.

Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.
