JPS Executive Search & Selection Pty Ltd invites applications for a 12-month full-time medical oncology fellow position in Western Victoria, Australia. The fellow will gain exposure to multiple tumour streams and collaborate with a team of oncologists and haematologists, supported by ongoing academic and clinical registries.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent degree.
• Current Registration with AHPRA.
• Successful completion of both RACP Written and Clinical Examinations.
• Either fully or partly completed AT in Medical Oncology.
• Specialist registration or eligibility for specialist registration (FRACP) - SIMG's with Substantially Comparable outcome encouraged to apply.

This medical oncology fellow position provides an integrated training experience combining extensive clinical practice with structured research involvement. Through exposure to a wide range of tumour streams and diverse clinical environments, the fellow will develop broad oncologic expertise supported by a sustained commitment to research. This opportunity is full-time, fixed for 12 months.

The Facility
The facility plays a significant role in cancer care for the western region of Melbourne, serving a catchment population exceeding 350,000. The medical oncology service presently employs five full-time oncologists, along with six visiting medical oncologists and four visiting haematologists.

• Fortnightly meetings in oncology-radiology and oncology-pathology are also integral to our collaborative approach.
• Collaboration with the radiation oncology unit and the palliative care team, including the nearby inpatient palliative care facility enhances their comprehensive approach.

The Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent degree.
• Current Registration with AHPRA
