Job summary

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent degree.
• Registered or registrable with AHPRA.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians with advanced training as Medical Oncologist.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient and outpatient oncology care, including systemic therapy.
• Engage in multidisciplinary planning and supervision within a collaborative team.
• Contribute to clinical governance and service development.

This is a Staff Specialist (ongoing) position, with negotiable hours, offering an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Medical Oncologist to join a well-established regional cancer service. You will deliver inpatient and outpatient oncology care, including systemic therapy and multidisciplinary planning, while contributing to clinical governance, service development, and supervision within a collaborative team.

The Facility

Its Medical Oncology service provides comprehensive cancer care, including chemotherapy delivery, outpatient clinics, inpatient management, and multidisciplinary team coordination. The department works closely with tertiary centres to ensure access to advanced treatments while maintaining strong local capability in cancer management and supportive care. The Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent degree.
• Registered or registrable with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians including advanced training and specialist recognition as a Medical Oncologist.
