Monash Health Radiology is seeking a qualified Medical Imaging Technologist (Radiographer) to join our rapidly growing workforce at Monash Medical Centre, Monash Children's Hospital and the Victorian Heart Hospital. Our MITs work across multiple modalities, including General X-ray, Theatre, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, MRI, DEXA, Fluoroscopy and Angiography.

We provide an imaging service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Qualifications

• Degree in Medical Imaging enabling eligibility for AHPRA registration
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Victorian Radiation Users License or recognised alternative
• Advanced radiographic knowledge and skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong time management and prioritisation
• Ability to adapt to change while delivering high quality outcomes
• Experience communicating with CALD patients
• Proven ability to work well in a team
• Mature judgement for prioritising duties

Responsabilités

• Image production, quality control, patient care and archiving across modalities
• Collaborate with medical, nursing and reception staff to image patients safely and efficiently
• Maintain radiation safety standards and ensure timely workflow
• Training and professional development as required across all modalities
