Job summary

AstraZeneca plc in Australia and New Zealand is seeking an experienced Medical Evidence Delivery Manager to drive operational delivery of evidence-generation activities across the region. You will coordinate externally funded studies, investigator-initiated research and real-world evidence projects, working with investigators, Medical leaders and global partners to bring approved programmes to life.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in life sciences, pharmacy, public health, health sciences, clinical research or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience coordinating or managing clinical research, ESR or evidence-generation studies or comparable regulated projects.
• Proven project-management capability across collaborators, achievements, risks and deliverables.
• Understanding of research governance, documentation, contracting, financial and compliance requirements.
• Ability to build effective relationships with investigators, research partners and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence across functions without direct authority.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and practical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Act as operational contact for ESR activities from proposal review through contracting, study maintenance and close-out.
• Coordinate reviews, approvals, governance activities, documentation and study achievements with investigators and global colleagues.
• Provide operational and feasibility input to evidence planning with Medical and evidence owners.
• Coordinate research agreements, fair market value, financial support and related processes with owners; maintain audit-ready records.
• Track timelines, budgets, vendors, risks and deliverables; coordinate responses with the team.
• Support publication review, study close-out, metrics and continuous improvement in study-delivery activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of evidence-delivery processes and tools across Medical Affairs.
