Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking an experienced Medical Education Manager to lead the development and delivery of medical education programmes that deepen healthcare professionals' understanding of therapeutic areas and appropriate treatment use.

You will translate science into learning, manage budgets and external partnerships, and evaluate impact to continuously enhance education. Some travel (up to 30%) and occasional events may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in medical education, medical affairs, or related function within pharma/biotech.
• Experience in diabetes, obesity, or rare disease areas preferred.
• Strong understanding of industry regulations and medical governance processes.
• Excellent scientific writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven project management experience with cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of medical education strategies aligned with Medical Affairs priorities, therapeutic area plans, and healthcare professional needs.
• Translate strategic priorities and scientific insights into high-quality, evidence-based educational materials and programmes across formats and channels.
• Partner with external healthcare professionals, medical societies, and educational providers to design and deliver medical education.
• Coordinate Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance review processes to ensure materials meet standards.
• Plan and facilitate medical education events, symposia, workshops, and training programmes, leveraging digital platforms to broaden reach.
• Manage medical education budget and oversee external agencies, speakers, and vendors for quality and compliance.
• Evaluate programme effectiveness using engagement data and feedback to optimise delivery and content.
• Travel up to 30% and occasional evenings/weekends for events.
