Townsville Hospital and Health Service is seeking applications from senior medical specialists for the position of Medical Director – Townsville Cancer Centre (TCC). This leadership role encompasses strategic oversight of clinical governance, workforce planning, education, and research across a comprehensive cancer service.

The successful candidate will provide executive-level leadership while maintaining a negotiated clinical caseload. The role involves direct engagement with Clinical Directors across oncology, haematology, radiation oncology, and palliative care, and supports integration with academic and research institutions including James Cook University.
